A Poem for your Pocket
April is National Poetry Month and there is a program called " A Poem for you Pocket," that encourages reading poetry on a consistent basis. We will be adding short poems to this page throughout the month to inspire you to take time for poetry.
Our first Book Walk of the year!
We are kicking off our 2022 Book Walk Series with What Sound Is Morning? by Kansas author, Grant Snider. At the end of each story, there is a QR Code. Use your smart phone and fill out the quick form to be entered into a drawing for a $5 gift card.

Enjoy a good read and some exercise with our July Book Walk. This months book is "Outside In" written by Deborah Underwood.
If you have not participated in the Mound City Library's Book Walk before, the pages of a selected book are placed in business windows around town. As you walk from business to business you will be able to enjoy a book! (The businesses are listed in the image below.)

Miniest Mini Golf week is here!! Here are a few of the golf holes that have been made this morning. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are build days. On Friday the golf holes will be set up around the library to play a round, or two. Reminder that this is a come and go event, there is no set time.
